Dr Pascale CONY-MAKHOUL received his medical degree from the University Victor Segalen, Bordeaux, France in 1989. She graduated in Internal Medicine and Clinical Haematology, had a Master degree in Differentiation, Genetic and Immunology (1986, University Claude Bernard, Lyon, France) and in Pharmaco-Epidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (2010, University Victor Segalen, Bordeaux, France). She acquired a lot of experience in clinical research as investigator between 1989-2021, member of an Ethics Committee since 2009 (South-Est IV, Centre Léon Bérard, Lyon, France), head of a Clinical Research Center labeled by the French Ministry of Health in 2011 (between 2011-2015, Annecy Hospital, Pringy, France), Scientific then medical manager, Clinical research and Innovation Office (between 2015-2019, Annecy Hospital, Pringy, France), Responsible for the Valorisation and Development of Clinical Research (between 2019-2021, Annecy Hospital, Pringy, France), in charge of GDPR conformity in clinical trials (worked with the DPO between 2018 and 2021, Annecy Hospital, Pringy, France). In February 2021, she joined the LYSARC, a non-profit operational structure for clinical lymphoma research (Pierre-Bénite, France).
Dr Pascale CONY-MAKHOUL worked as a hospital practitioner in the hematology department i) of the university hospital of Bordeaux, France (Pr J. Reiffers) between 1989-2001 (senior registrar between 1989-1991), on CML, Acute Leukemias, NHL, MM, autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant, ii) of the community Hospital, Annecy, France between 2002-Jan 2021, in charge of the clinical CML, MPNs and MDS programs.
Dr Pascale CONY-MAKHOUL is a member of the French Group of CML (FI-LMC) since 2002 (in the Fi-LMC board between 2010-2022), involved now in the Fi-LMC as a consultant for regulatory affairs.
Dr Pascale CONY-MAKHOUL has authored or co-authored more than 100 articles in peer reviewed journals.
